Choosing the Right Vane Size

Yes. The soil-resistant fabric holds up well in Singapore’s humidity, and the 99% UV blocking (when vanes are closed) protects your interior furnishings from tropical sun damage. Silhouette® shadings have been installed across Singapore for decades.
Standard Silhouette® shadings reduce light significantly but are not 100% blackout. For bedrooms requiring complete darkness, we recommend Silhouette® Duolite® or Silhouette® A Deux™, both of which combine the Silhouette® sheer with a room-darkening fabric. Alternatively, pair Silhouette® with a night curtain, or consider Duette® with LightLock® for true blackout.
Yes. PowerView® Gen 3 Automation is available across the full Silhouette® range, allowing control via the PowerView® app. With the optional PowerView® Gateway, Silhouette® shades integrate with Apple Home via Matter, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa.
All Silhouette® shades we supply come with Hunter Douglas’ Lifetime Limited Warranty. PowerView® motorisation components are covered for 5 years from the date of purchase. Full warranty details are provided during your consultation.
Silhouette® ClearView® uses a special sheer fabric that maximises view-through to the outside. If having a clear view through the shade matters to you – for example, on windows overlooking gardens or city views – ClearView® is worth considering. Standard Silhouette® has a denser sheer that provides more daytime privacy.
